A Lipdub is an event done in universities, companies and groups of friends around the world for entertainment and / or promotion and it helps to strengthen the relationship between students and workers and, at the same time, it promotes the organizer.
A good lipdub should have, or at least seems to have, the following characteristics:
- Spontaneity: It`s like someone thought up the idea on the spot, took his personal video camera, and said Hi everybody, let's do like we sing this song.
- Participation: A lipdub is not just one person's lip sync, but a group where all participants do the lip sync together in an untrue spontaneous effort, which seems to communicate the attitude and mood of the song.
- Fun: The People need to have fun doing it.
- Authenticity: Participants, production and the situation must seem real.
- Imagination: The video should be original,surprising and funny.
